Silly fish.

To me he kind of looks like a clutzy frog dragon. He has yellow and green features witch are more reptile like than fish like, and I love how he looks like a total ditz with his eyes parted like that, and the chin is very cute, You did a really good job with his texture and the background is the best!! This is going to be my new desktop background for a while!! Very Creative, Very cute!

haha ty thats awesome :D

Nice Job!!

I have to say, I have looked over your work, you are a fantastic artist, and one of the best at illustrating Nintendo characters. I love it! Very evil look, I just wish you could have put a background in, but needless to say it already looks astonishing.

kotaro91 responds:

Thank you!!!
I really love hearing that ^^

About the background: I've made this for a pic collab and there wasn't allowed to put a background in so that you can cut out the Dedede.
I really would've loved to add a background. xD

This is just too good.

You really have talent!! I am a big fan of nintendo, and you did a rally amazing job at illustrating bowser. Great Work! I like how you did the fact of a video game character playing a viceo, its a great idea.

Spectacular!!

That is a magnificent piece of art!! She is SOOOOO Cute!!!!! I'd hit that. The way you have illustrated the big bad meanie is really impressive, but to be honest the arrows pointing to the bear in the piece kind of ruins it.

Ahahah Wow!!

That is a funny comic strip!! I don't normally laugh at comics, but this was really amazing. I love your artistic style too!! Good Work!

Wajaholic responds:

Thanks man, glad you like it. I didnt know whether this was the right place to upload comic strips but i thought id put one up and see what happened, haha.

Sweet picture!

This really seems like it would have been better if you would have done it in color. It looks amazing but the center piece on his shirt at first made it look like you cut off his body there. Other than that I like the smokey background, its way better than I could have illustrated, and the knife looks pretty badass too. He doesn't seem all that interesting, he seems like a normal person in war, because he looks a little chubby to me but he has very muscular features. I also like the helmet design you have made as well. Sweet work desktoppirate!

desktoppirate responds:

the white space is called lazyness :P it got to 3am and i just thought "damn it, ill upload it" its a possibility that i may do more work on it....

what an odd picture.

When ever I imagine Dennis the menace I imagine a cute character with blond hair, but you have a really creative imagination of showing that deep down he really is crazy. I really like the simple look you gave it of only using 3 colors. You gave him a really nice evil look, bravo!

Wajaholic responds:

They dont call him Dennis the Menace for nothing! Hes craaaaaaaaaazy!

Awesome Mech desining!

I really like how you did this! The way you show the process of how you designed it is a really cool feature that you have presented. I mean you didn't seem to change a single thing about your original design, and each step you took just made it more and more awesome, in fact even if you would have submitted the black and white version I would have been astonished as well, but the final piece really is mind blowing, the background suits it very well and the colors you chose are wonderful. I would like to see that thing in action!

Galneda responds:

Thank you very much!

It's actually my intention to put this guy into action...freshman year of college I had a variant of this thing in vehicle mode, and I was storyboarding it to the metal music of one of my friends. When I become 3D savvy, it's my intention to make the vision a reality.

I'm used to just kind of doing everything in one take, because I doodle with pens and sharpies in my free time...so if I make a mistake, I role with it. But the professor I currently have is trying to break me of that habit, and start with a very, very ROUGH outline of what's about to happen.

But if you'll look closely, there are features in the rough shapes that I decided were better off without; the bulldozery scoop-spikes near the left knee were ditched, the shoulder armor more refined, and the armor plating on the arms were going to look different than how they came out.

That's a part of the wonderful process of this whole shape-method thing. You'll look at it now that it's there in front of you, and you start noticing possibilities for better outcomes.

I came very close to just submitting the ink-work by itself, but I've made a promise to myself to try not to half-ass things nowadays. In hindsight, I'm very glad I followed this thing through.

Also there's color-theory; the tan goes well as a sort-of desert camo, and the red are just interesting little details that pop out for you. I actually have a lot to thank for Armored Core in noticing schemes like that.

Thanks again for the great review! :D

That is great!

I adore this piece, the way you it looks like it was done with paint is stunning! The colors you also chose gives it a very grim feeling to it, and with the character leaning over down into a whole brings out some dramatic irony and makes me wonder what he is going to do. Also the mask looks freakishy awesome! The pose you gave him really compliments what kind of feel you were going for in the picture. You got a great sense in shading as well. It's fantastic!

Rhunyc responds:

Aw man, you're making me blush, haha. Thanks a bunch!!! Glad you dig it so much!! :D

so very cute!!

I love cartoon and amine girls, and especially cute ditzy characters like the one you have drawn out here. She looks so cute there with her umbrella, it really suits her. That pose is one of favorites, I did that in one of my pieces, but its no where near as good as yours. Great work!

Jordan, a creative mind always looking to inspire others. Let's make something awesome together!
